Discover Napoli… the menu in pictures!

As I told you before, last sunday took place here in London a very nice event: a supperclub hosted by a food blogger and her food blogger/ journalist sister to raise money for an italian charity. In this case the onlus was in Naples, so all the menu was traditionally prepared following the best recipes from the sister’s family. And even the mum came to help and let the english know a bit more of our gastonomic tradition. This was DISCOVER NAPOLI supperclub!

So Pastificio dei Campi couldn’t miss this opportunity, we needed to be there with our pasta,  supporting the cause but also letting everyone know we are proudly from there.

I’m really sorry to don’t have any picture of the 3 fabulous chefs but i’m sure you will enjoy enough the amazing pictures of their dishes. Here is the full menu! (A big thank fro the pictures to Mulia, Rosanna Mc Phee, Gina and of course the 2 sisters Federilli and Squadrilla75.

So here is the CASATIELLO, a classic easter salty cake with eggs, cheese and italian salami.

Then our Genovese pasta made with Millerighe Pastificio dei Campi (soon the recipe on this blog for all of you) and the sartu’ di riso (with meatball, eggs, mozzarella and peas, just to say some of the ingredients).

Then  it was time for some goat meat, very traditional in Easter for us and some typical vegetables recipes with pepper, artichokes and aubergines.

And finally the 3 big hits of the dinner: Homemade Mostaccioli, Pastiera and Mini Babba with limoncello and maraschino cherries!

I can’t imagine a more complete Easter menu than this one. All the dishes look amazing and these are not easy and quick recipes neither. So a massive congratulation to the hosts for the great idea and the big effort placed in all the preparation of the dishes!
